Together in Missions is a team at Utica UMC that is focused on serving God’s calling to care for the needy both locally in our immediate community, and afar – across our state, our country and the world. Many of these ministries are supported through financial contributions that provide the resources that enable those ministry programs to function successfully. As Paul states, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6.

Together in Mission works in partnership with Michigan United Methodist Conference to become an Engagemi church. Engagemi is the mission engagement program for the Michigan Conference. “Ministry with” is the foundational concept for the Engagemi program.  Based on The United Methodist Church’s “Ministry with the Poor” Area of Focus, “ministry with” is grounded in Jesus’ practice of ministry, and our Wesleyan heritageIt is an invitation to move from models of “ministry to” into models of “ministry with.”  To learn more about the Engagemi program please click here.

Utica United Methodist Church partners with the Michigan Conference to support mission and ministry projects here in Michigan, Nationally and Internationally. We also choose support missionaries both locally and internationally. Links are provided to learn more about each ministry below.
