Our children are our future – as a society and as a Christian community. A Christ-centered program with fun activities like the one we have will ensure a very exciting future for all of God’s children.
Sunday Morning Teachers
The members of our church who guide the children in their worship and Bible studies are our Faith Teachers. They are dedicated to helping the children learn and to develop their understanding of the Christian Faith.
Children’s Sunday school
Children (PreK – 5th Grade) are invited to attend Sunday school during the 9:30am and 10:30am Worship services. Children learn about the Bible, faith, and the love Jesus has for them. They listen to and talk about a Bible story, make crafts, and sing songs together.
The children are dismissed from the Worship service during one of the hymns/songs where they are met by their teacher at the back of the worship area. The children return to the worship area with their teacher at the end of the service. Children’s classes are located in the upstairs classrooms.
Youth Sunday school
Middle School and High School youth (6th-12th grade) are invited to attend Sunday school during the 9:30am and 10:30am Worship services. Classes are led by dedicated teachers who guide discussions with the youth about Bible lessons, their faith and how these relate to the real world.
During the 9:30am service, classes are offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. During the 10:30am service, classes are offered every week. The Youth are dismissed from services during one of the hymns/songs and connect with their teacher at the back of the worship area. Youth classes are located in the downstairs classrooms.
Toddlers and Infants
Toddler and Crib rooms are available for use by families with young children during the 9:30am and 10:30am Worship services on Sundays. These rooms are unstaffed so it is important for a responsible individual to remain with the children.
Beyond Sunday Mornings
We have other programs and activities that occur throughout the year for the children and youth of our congregation and the surrounding community. If you are interested in learning about these, please check out the “Connect – Kidzone” or “Connect – Youth” page.
