Utica United Methodist Church will be Cancelling All Activities and Worship Services, per request from Bishop Bard
Bishop David Bard posted this video announcement today:
“Given the developments of the last few hours, I need to ask more of you as Michigan United Methodists, I am asking that each United Methodist Church in Michigan refrain from in person gatherings for the remainder of the month of March. This would include worship, bible studies, and any other meetings. We are at a critical juncture in stemming the breach of coronavirus, and as a church we can play an important role in slowing the spread of the COVID-19 disease…”
Upon receiving Bishop David Bard’s message today:
Utica UMC will be complying with the request to cancel all events and activities.
A robo-call (automated voice message) will be sent out tomorrow, March 14th, to give more information.
If you have any immediate concerns or questions, please email Rev. Don at srpastor@uticaumc.org.
Remain healthy and safe, and pray for all who are hurting in this difficult time.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 4:19
